Every game has rules. Even this one.
Use the Kingpin iPhone App to check in, like you normally would in Foursquare. If you're new to the idea of Foursquare here's the deal. You go to different places throughout your day; coffee shops, restaurants, stores, wherever. When you arrive at each location, check in. Check in enough time at a single location and you'll become the mayor. If you're a mayor in Foursquare, congratulations you're a Boss in Kingpin! Oh ya, you'll also keep collecting badges like you would in Foursquare.

Once you check in, you are given the ability to "Attack". There are three unique attack options:
– If you're not a boss of a particular joint, this is your base attack option. It gives you the ability to off other Foursquare users who have checked in recently. Bosses are immune from drive-bys.
– If the boss of a joint (not you) checks into a location you are currently checked in at, you have a chance to "Assassinate" them for a short time period. However, if you miss, they get alerted to the attempt.
Bosses only – The privileged few that arise to the level of "Boss" get to finger certain rivals for whacking. Once the chump has been "taken care of", you can target a new rival.
You get one attack per location per day. For now.
If you get killed at a location, you can't attack or be attacked for a short time period.
If you become ruthlessly efficient at the game, "taking care of the competition" wherever you find it, you'll become the Kingpin. This is a good thing, which we'll go into in more detail later...
